There
are many ways out of depression.
You
can do a lot to help yourself.
Here's
some advises to you:

Nature
Take
a walk in the nature: Alongside the ocean, by a lake, up hillsides,
in the wood or in the mountains. Calm down. Look at the green trees,
the flowers and the fields. See the beauty in the nature around you.
Feel the harmony that the sounds and colours give to your mind. Feel
how the nature makes you stronger in body and mind.
The
green colour in the woods, parks and gardens makes your mind calm
and relaxed. Colours are feelings. Green gives you harmony while red
stresses you.
Exercise
Exercise
is most important. Try to increase your body condition regularly and
the mental health will be better every day. Take a longer walk every
day. Or go jogging in the nature or elsewhere. Run as fast as you can
and feel the power of your body. Take it out. Press yourself to
increase your condition gradually day by day. And feel the nice
calmness in the shower back home after a nice exercise knowing it
gives you more mental strength and power.
And
give your body the best food possible - and that is more vegetables,
less sugar, more fish and less meat. All you eat will have an

Sleep
Regular
sleep is important for your mental health. Get enough sleep and
sleep at night not during the day. Get up at the same time every
morning. Don't take your work and your problems with you to bed. The
bed is only for sleep and sex. If you need relaxations techniques try yoga
and meditation.
Comedies
Comedies
can help you out of depressions as well: Don't look at films with
violence. Pick instead the nice comedies that stimulates your
laughter. Laughter is very healthy and it takes away your stress and
your sad thoughts.
Laughter

Music
Find
your favourite music. The music that makes you happy and that brings
your mind to harmony. Funny melodies that makes you laugh? Calm and
nice music relaxing your mind?
You
can bring the music with you on exercise or for a walk.
Meditation
A
lot of stress can give you depression if you are pressing yourself
too hard. Give yourself time to rest. You don't have to run all the
time. Why not try to meditate? Meditation is possible everywhere but
it's best when you have calmness around you: Find yourself a nice
place to sit down. In your favourite chair at home. Or out in the
nature: Close your eyes and breed slowly in and out thorough the
nose. Be aware of your slowly breeding. If you are out in the park or
in a forest then try to be a part of the harmony in the nature around
you. If you need a mantra use the sound OM. Every time you think
about something repeat the sound OM. Aim at beeing silent inside
yourself emptying your mind totally: Don't think about anything, just
relax and think about nothing, breed slowly.
Meditation
Thoughts
and feelings
Concentrate
on your thoughts because you thoughts and feelings have the power to
help you: Think positive about yourself. Be good to yourself. That
will lift you up form depression. Don't bother yourself with all the
things that went wrong.
On
the contrary think about all the positive things in your life like
positive experiences and start to feel grateful for the positive
things in your life. Look back on the nice and good memories with
gratitude. Send your energy of hopes and wishes to the present aims
you have in life.
Give
yourself a break from the negative thoughts: Free yourself from them
and set yourself free to be positive and hopeful. Send the energy of
your thoughts and feelings to your positive wishes for the future and
your wishes will come closer to you. More positive thoughts and
feelings will give your more happiness.
This
is a good and powerful exercise that will send more joy into your
life: Sit down in a quiet room every day. Close your eyes and imagine
the life you wish to have. Imagine yourself in that situation of
aready having it and feel the joy of being there inn your
imagination. Then you focus on what you already have that you are
grateful for and feel the gratitude of what you have gained until now.
Anther
powerful exercise is to start every morning feeling grateful for all
the positive things in your life. When you do your regular routine in
the morning like brush your teeth, take a shower etc.: Then think
about all the positive things in your life and send your feeling of
gratitude into the thoughts you have. This is such a fine exercise
for your morning ritual. Gratitude is absolutely the way to bring you
a more positive life. Because it changes your way of thinking about
the situation in your life - and depression will gradually disappear.

Write
Write
down your thoughts on a piece of paper. Afterwards you can burn the
paper or keep it for later use. The point is to write down your
problems. It's a way to put the problems away: Take them out oft your
head and put them down on the paper. Release them and let them go away.
Write
a short list of the positive things in your life. Afterwards write a
list of the negative things. Take a look at the list when you have
finished and think about what you can do yourself to reduce the
negative list and to increase the positive things on the list. The
solutions can be closer than you think. Do you need to make some
changes in your life? Very often you concentrate too much on the
problems, losing the total look over of the situation: Take
responsibility for your own life and your own situation. That's the
grown up attitude.
Stop
smoking
A
Norwegian investigation concludes that smokers are far more exposed
to depression than non-smokers. If you for example smoke 20
cigarettes per day you get depression four times easier compared to
non-smokers. This results shows that smoking has an effect on
depression. So if you smoke, try to reduce your smoking or stop
smoking. Medicines are available to cure you if you need help to stop smoking.
Dope
Don't
you ever try to solve your problems in dope:
Dope
makes all problems much, much larger.
Get
help
Don't
isolate yourself. Talk to someone you have confidence in for example
a good friend or your doctor. There's a lot of good help coming to
you from other people - if you try.
